Small Group ABA with 1:1 Supports

BACK

This program supports learners in increasing their ability to participate in group-based activities with the support of a therapist. Skills will be taught individually where needed and practiced with peers in fun and engaging activities.

Skills taught can include:

  • Social skills (e.g., orienting to others, sharing attention with others during an activity, requesting from others, approaching others to engage socially/playfully)
  • Group readiness skills (e.g., transitioning from preferred activities to structured group activities, gaining adult attention as needed, accepting being told “no” and “wait”, tolerating group activities for increasing periods of time)
  • Social play and leisure activities (e.g., engaging with an activity independently during free time, sharing play/leisure space with peers)

※ The suggested age ranges are guidelines and may slightly vary based on individual needs.
